This album is the second installment of Distance Edition, where our normal face-to-face live improvisation is replaced with an internet-based collaborative relay of parts of a track that add up to a whole - refer to liner notes of Edition 1 for more details on the process.

This edition welcomes Samarobryn to the fold, a wonderfully talented Perth-based musician whose bold creativity took this album into some very interesting territory. We also welcome Solar Cell Kid, whose support of the Perth electronic and experimental music scene to-date is almost unrivalled, and with whose blessing PA will surely continue to greatness!

There is always an element of risk making improvised music with strangers. There can be big differences in tastes, backgrounds, skills, and levels of "seriousness". Here at Perth Ambient we accept this head-on without apology, without question, and without judgement. Music speaks for itself, and we let the music speak. We hope you enjoy this album - may it take you to places you didn't know you wanted to visit.
